VCO Lend has four major loan statuses: Open, Submitted, Closed and Canceled. Within each status, Clients can further define the stages of the workflow specifically by loan progress. A company can create their own custom More > progresses, or choose from a list of default progresses within VCO Lend. For instance, a loan in "Submitted Status" can be further defined with progresses called "Processing," "Submitted," "Approved," "Suspended," "Ready for Docs," "Docs," "Docs Back," etc. VCO Lend can be easily programmed with a number of actions that are triggered by the updating of the progress on a particular loan. For instance, upon updating a progress from "submitted" to "approved," a company may wish to email notify the LO, queue the conditions for processing assistance, and lock down the income section. To ensure control and maintain accurate pipelines, user permissions can be applied that restrict progress selection. For instance, a company may wish to restrict LOs and assistants from advancing a loan file from "ready for docs" to "docs," which would normally be reserved for a staff member in the doc department. Furthermore, progress dependency can be created, forcing files to take a natural progressive path. You wouldn't want a user to update a file from "pre-approved" to "docs out" without first updating to "submitted," then "approved," then "clear for docs."
